What I do

I am a London-based photographer focusing on press photography, on-location portraits and social events. I have a particular interest for documentary photo series and I like to combine sound and image within a slideshow. Being also prolific in video filming and editing, I can offer a service package that combines stills and videos.

Background

I originally come from Brussels, Belgium and I used to live in Montreal, Canada. I speak French and English fluently, and some Dutch and Spanish too.

I studied press photography as part of my journalism B.A. in Belgium at IHECS and multimedia technology (MSc) at Edinburgh Napier University.

Statement

For an editorial approach, I like to think of photography as a way to make words or sentences out of what surrounds us. This implies aiming at technical and aesthetic excellence, while focusing on the content and it’s meaning. I see it as a powerful way to share points of view, challenge each other and generate dialogue.
For events, I like to balance the work between the necessary coverage of crucial moments in the day with candid shots to document the atmosphere.
